Band Parents

As the parent of a student enrolled in band, you are automatically a member of the WLHS Viking Band Parents Organization. The band parents organization’s primary goal is to assist the band director in any way possible to help the band program run smoothly and efficiently, thereby aiding the director and the students in their pursuit of musical excellence.

Volunteer Opportunities

The key to a successful program is the support of students, staff, and most of all the BAND PARENTS! If you can be of assistance in any of the following areas, please volunteer your time and talents. There is nothing more rewarding than being an active member of a fine organization, and your involvement speaks volumes about how you value the choices your child makes. Even five minutes makes a difference!
